Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) sponsored the “Be Stronger” Gala Dinner organized by the Arab Women Empowerment Authority, affiliated with the Union of Arab Banks, which was held at the Intercontinental Hotel on October 26th, 2022 aiming to highlight successful experiences of Arab Women despite continuous economic challenges.
Throughout the dinner, women from different sectors and walks of life presented their success stories despite the various challenges they faced.
Dr. Aghair Jweihan – Chief Executive Officer of Princess Taghreed Institute for Development and Training (PTI) was selected by JKB to represent the Bank and share her experience as a successful woman and the impact Jordan Kuwait Bank – as a financial institution and partner – had had to enable her, both on a personal and professional level. During her presentation, Dr. Jweihan highlighted that through JKB’s commitment to social responsibility and supporting the community institutions, and specifically the Bank’s support for PTI, has enabled to empower women in disadvantaged areas.
Princess Taghreed Institute for Development and Training was established to address the ongoing struggles faced by orphaned and abandoned youth after reaching the age of 18. PTI seeks to professionally educate these young adults and help them develop their skills to become independent individuals and find career opportunities that will help them build sustainable lives.
